DESCRIPTION:This Saturday\, June 5\, at 7:00 a.m\, meet at the Zofnass Family Preserve on Upper Shad Road in Pound Ridge (see Google Map) when we take a break from our epic Saturday runs and run everyone’s favorite labyrinthian preserve with a network of trails noted for its crags and rock outcrops. Meet at the main entrance and we’ll follow a perimeter loop making all right turns except for exiting the park. We’ll make a 6-mile loop counter-clockwise around the preserve this time excluding the orange\, western loop. Date is subject to change based on schedules.\n \nOn Saturday\, July 17\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at Devil’s Tombstone Campground\, NY-214\, Hunter\, NY 12442\, ready to run the first half of the Devil’s Path. This is a 13.8 mile very aggressive course with 4\,500 feet of gain on some of the most technical trails the Catskills\, or anywhere else\, has to offer. We’ll meet at the terminus of the run at 7:00 a.m. and take a minimum number of cars to the start at Prediger Trail Head Road. Plan to bring plenty of water and food for this all-day event.  \nWe can head over to the famed Phoenicia Diner for bourbon milkshakes after since we’ll be close.
