Options include the Devil’s Den to Saugatuck run\, the Devil’s Ledge run\, or even the Saugatuck Loop which is longer but a little easier by most measures. \n7:00 to 7:30 a.m. Get Some Fresh Brewed\nMeet at Tusk Coffee Shop\, 51 Ethan Allen Highway\, Ridgefield CT\, 06877\, for cup of coffee\, maybe something to eat\, and get ready to head out on some new trails. \n7:30 to 8:00 a.m.\nWe’ll drop a car at the finish (1086 Black Rock Turnpike\, Easton\, CT)\, and proceed to the start of the run at Devil’s Den Preserve (33 Pent Rd\, Weston\, CT) arriving around 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. We’ll be running an 11-ish mile point-to-point run from Devil’s Den through the Saugatuck trail to the waiting car. Once done\, we’ll retrieve the cars at Devil’s Den. If you’re not up for the full distance\, you have an option of dropping a car at Glen Road\, about halfway through the run. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, December 29\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at the Ward Pound Ridge Meadow Lot when we run the Meadow to Green Loop. This course heads to the Trailside Museum before circling around to Michigan Road. From there\, take the Green trail\, which is a sizeable hill\, to some of the smaller\, lesser-used trails in the Southern portion of the park. I have the trail marked to cross Michigan Road and catch the CB trail\, which is accessible this time of year\, and return via FH to the Meadow. Options include an additional half mile down LL and up to the Overlook or you can make the run shorter by eliminating the Green trail.
