SUMMARY:Trailside to Joe
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 30\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Trailside Museum lot\, when we run a new course—Trailside to Joe 7 mile loop. Those who’ve run with me for a while know that once the cold temperatures set it\, I’m more inclined to do some exploring in the parks. For this run\, We’ll head over to Joe’s Hill on the Western part of the Rez. While the Dancing Rock Run includes part of Joe’s Hill\, we’ll push a little farther west to the top of it where most of you have never been. SUMMARY:Zofnass Family Preserve Run
DESCRIPTION:This Friday\, November 29\, at 8:00 a.m\, meet at the Zofnass Family Preserve on Upper Shad Road in Pound Ridge (see Google Map) when we run everyone’s favorite labyrinthian preserve with a network of trails noted for its crags and rock outcrops. Meet at the main entrance and we’ll follow a perimeter loop making all right turns except for exiting the park. We’ll make a 6-mile loop counter-clockwise around the preserve this time excluding the orange\, western loop. This is the perfect antidote to the Black Friday crunch. \n\nPrint Map Download the PDF
