DESCRIPTION:This Friday\, November 24\, at 7:00 a.m\, meet at the Zofnass Family Preserve on Upper Shad Road in Pound Ridge (see Google Map) when we run everyone’s favorite labyrinthian preserve with a network of trails noted for its crags and rock outcrops. Meet at the main entrance and we’ll follow a perimeter loop making all right turns except for exiting the park. We’ll make a 6-mile loop counter-clockwise around the preserve excluding the orange\, western loop. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, November 12\, at 9:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Meadow Lot\, ready to run The Raven Rocks Run—a challenging 10k trail race. This year\, the race is in-person plus you can join the Raven 100K Challenge and collect as many badges as you can over the course of the month. Register here \nCobweb Crew starts at 5:00 for a course check; Early Risers start at 7:00 for a second check. \nThe race will start in the Meadow near the fallen oak tree and its massive remains. The course passes by the spot where the Leatherman’s Loop begins. Instead of heading towards the river as the Loop does\, the Raven Rocks Run 10k course climbs and climbs up to the two highest points in the park (Raven Rocks Overlook and the Fire Tower Summit) before heading back for a (mostly) downhill and (relatively) flat finish. \n\nPrint Map Download the PDF  Download the KML Download the GPX

Options include the full 10 miles and an abbreviated 6 mile version. \n7:00 to 7:30 a.m. Get Some Fresh Brewed\nMeet at Tazza Café\, 408 Main St\, Ridgefield\, CT\, and have a cup of coffee before the run.  \nRun starting at 8:00 a.m.\nWe’ll head over to Bennett’s Pond lot on Bennett’s Farm Road in and start running at 8:00 a.m. Headlamps not required.  \nGet Some Brews\nWe’ll finish around 10:30 and can head over to Brick House Wood Fired Pizza on Route 7 or the Hideaway in Ridgefield for food and drink. SUMMARY:Michigan 4x8 Challenge
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, October 29\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Michigan Road Lot\, ready to run the Michigan 4×8 Challenge. The entire Challenge starts at 5:00 a.m. but you can start whenever you want\, including 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. This course consists of a series of 4-mile (approximate) clockwise loops in the Rez that can be completed within an hour. At 5:00 a.m.\, we’ll start with the magenta loop\, then work our way in a clockwise pattern hitting the purple and then green loops. At 8:00\, we’ll start with yellow\, then blue\, orange and so on\, using our cars as aid stations between loops. Total distance would be just over 50k but you can stop whenever you want. Cobweb Crew starts the first loop at 5:00; Early Risers join in at 7:00. \nRookie Runners start at 7:00 for a shorter distance and easier pace. \n\nPrint Map

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 28\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at the East Trapps Trailhead in Mohonk Preserve (3213 US-44\, Gardiner\, NY 12525) ready to run a 10.5 mile loop through the Mohonk Preserve\, by the Mountain House\, to Sky Top Tower. Driving time is approximately 75 minutes and parking at the East Trapps lot is $15 per person. The foliage should be peak so this should be a spectacular day.
