Kisco ready to run the Butler to Meyer course which includes a section of Byram Lake Road and Oregon Road so you’ll have an opportunity to stretch your legs plus get plenty of climb on the trails. Course should be around 8 miles but if you’re looking for a longer run\, you can extend the course in Meyer or head over for a perimeter loop of Westmoreland and turn this into a half marathon. Early Risers can start at 6:00 for a perimeter loop of Butler and a view from the hawk watch before the main run. Afterwards\, head over to Mimi’s in Mt. At a 10% average incline\, the FH to Lean-to 7 segment (Happy Ending on Strava—don’t ask!) is less steep than Blue but also less technical. Considering all of the leaves right now\, you’ll get a good working but are less inclined to turn an ankle.

DESCRIPTION:This Friday\, November 29\, at 7:00 a.m\, meet at the Zofnass Family Preserve on Upper Shad Road in Pound Ridge (see Google Map) when we run everyone’s favorite labyrinthian preserve with a network of trails noted for its crags and rock outcrops. Meet at the main entrance and we’ll follow a perimeter loop making all right turns except for exiting the park. We’ll make a 6-mile loop counter-clockwise around the preserve excluding the orange\, western loop. If you’re looking to turn this into a long run\, explore the Zofnass to Mianus River Gorge run of 16 miles or\, maybe\, we can drive over to Mianus River Gorge for a short 4-mile out-and-back\, you know\, just for fun.  \nPrint Map  Download the PDF\n \nLast time we ran this course was November 24\, 2023
