DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, January 5\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation Trailside Museum when we run the Museum to Blue route. We’ll be following the course in a counterclockwise direction but since the bridges are out\, when you reach Kimberly Bridge\, climb Blue and finish through the meadow. Options include 6.5\, 7.5. and 8.5 mile loops. Looking to start early? I’ve got a 2020 20 challenge. 5:00 a.m. start will do an initial 8-mile loop. 7:00 a.m. start will add 4 more to that so you can reach 20 for the day and start the year off right. SUMMARY:Trailside to Joe
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 30\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Trailside Museum lot\, when we run a new course—Trailside to Joe 7 mile loop. Those who’ve run with me for a while know that once the cold temperatures set it\, I’m more inclined to do some exploring in the parks. For this run\, We’ll head over to Joe’s Hill on the Western part of the Rez. While the Dancing Rock Run includes part of Joe’s Hill\, we’ll push a little farther west to the top of it where most of you have never been. There are a couple of other bushwhacks on the course as well so this may not be one of your fastest seven-mile runs. \n\nPrint Map Download the PDF
