DESCRIPTION:On Labor Day\, Monday\, September 2\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at Michigan Road Lot to test yourself and find out who’s going to get the crown on one counterclockwise loop of Red. It’s simple. 5.32 miles. The current course records are 36:09 for Chris Irwin and 41:50 for Julie Piddington although the competition for the leaderboards is fierce. No cost to enter. No flags on the course. No prize money. Just bragging rights if you’re able to take the crown.\n \nWhile there will be bragging rights for who finishes first on the day\, the real test is who claims the top of the Leaderboard so watch Strava afterward as runners post their runs. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, July 7\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Michigan Road Lot ready to run the Michigan to Spy Rock 7 Mile Loop\, or as I like to call it\, The Stairmaster. This course starts up the FH trail and heads over the Magic Stairs before turning south past Castle Rock and up The Stairs to Spy Rock. If you ran repeats of Blue on Saturday and aren’t up for the climbs\, head out Red to 50\, to Raven Rocks\, then to 36. You’ll still have a great run but with a bit less climb. DESCRIPTION:On Memorial Day\, Monday\, May 27\, at 7:00 a.m.\, meet at Michigan Road Lot to test yourself and find out who’s going to get the crown on one counterclockwise loop of Red. It’s simple. 5.32 miles. The current course records are 36:09 for Chris Irwin and 41:50 for Julie Grant although the competition for the leaderboards is fierce. No cost to enter. No flags on the course. No prize money. Just bragging rights if you’re able to take the crown.\n \nWhile there will be bragging rights for who finishes first on the day\, the real test is who claims the top of the Leaderboard so watch Strava afterward as runners post their runs. The official loop starts and ends past the gate (see the segment) but depending on how many are running\, you’ll be starting on the asphalt. \nSee the segment map and leaderboard ›› \nAlternatively\, if you’re not interested in racing\, we could run a course and enjoy the view of the morning sun. No prizes for that either\, just some nice views.
