DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, February 6\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Michigan Road Lot\, ready to run a classic—The Blue Moon Loop. This course\, courtesy of one of the Loop founders\, Dave Cope\, revives an old trail below the Leatherman’s Cave that is on the old Stroller’s Map but absent from more recent ones. We’ll be running the course in the opposite direction of the arrows on the map\, putting the bushwhack early in the run. Depending on trail conditions (there may be ice)\, you can avoid the bushwhack and continue intersection 27. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, January 23\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Michigan Road lot\, ready to run the Green Rock Trail course which includes the Overlook\, Spy Rock\, the Stairs\, and Raven Rocks.  Options include a 4\, 6.5\, 7.5\, and 8.5 mile course and this time\, we’ll be running this in a clockwise direction climbing up the stairs and to the overlook. If you’ve been in the Rez this week\, you’ll know why those are better uphills than down. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, January 2\, at 8:00 a.m.\, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation\, Michigan Road Lot\, ready to run a course we haven’t seen in a while—Run the Numbers. From the parking lot at Michigan Road\, run as many intersections as you want in sequence. Intersection 1 is the bridge near the meadow. Intersecion 2 is the second bridge\, and so on.  \n Connect 1 through 9 and you’ll have a 6 mile run. Add 10\, 11\, and 12\, and you’ll be close to 8. Stop whenever you’ve had enough or continue and visit all 70 and get 53 miles. You can take whatever course you want and\, if you want\, snap a photo of each of the numbers.
