On Indigenous Peoples Day, Monday, October 9, at 7:00 a.m., meet at Michigan Road Lot to test yourself and find out who’s going to get the crown on one clockwise loop of Red. It’s simple. 5.32 miles. The current course record is 40:13 set by Tom Curley although the competition for the leaderboard is fierce. No cost to enter. No flags on the course. No prize money. Just bragging rights if you’re able to take the crown.
While there will be bragging rights for who finishes first on the day, the real test is who claims the top of the Leaderboard so watch Strava afterward as runners post their runs. The official loop starts and ends past the gate (see the segment) but depending on how many are running, you’ll be starting on the asphalt.

Alternatively, if you’re not interested in racing, it’s still a great course and includes a view from Raven Rocks.
