This perimeter loop of Huntington State Park in Redding, Connecticut, includes a variety of wooded terrain. Those looking for something more epic can follow the Aspetuck trail on the East side and connect to the Saugatuck trail and Devil’s Den or Trout Brook. Park entrance is 58 Sunset Hill Road, Redding, CT.
