On Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, at 7:00 a.m., test yourself and find out who’s going to get the crown on one counterclockwise loop of Red. It’s that simple. 5.32 miles. One shot. All out. The current course records are 38:49 for Billy McArthur and 44:58 for Jennifer Zopp although the competition for the leaderboards is fierce. No cost to enter. No flags on the course. No prize money. Just bragging rights if you’re able to take the crown.
While there will be bragging rights for who finishes first on the day, the real test is who claims the top of the Leaderboard so watch Strava afterward as runners post their runs. The official loop starts and ends past the gate (see the segment) but depending on how many are running, you’ll be starting on the asphalt. Cobweb Crew pre-runs the course at 5:30. REDRUN starts at 7:00.
