SUNDAY: Trailside Museum
On Sunday, July 21, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Trailside Museum, for a run on a new course—the Trailside to Green Loop. This course will take us along the river, up Blue, down Green, up FH, and down CB. Needless to say, there may be hills involved but when is that a surprise? It’s going to get hot so bring plenty of water for this run. And if you want to beat the heat, you can start at 4:00 a.m. for all or part of a 12-mile perimeter loop or 7:00 a.m. for a 4-mile loop. SATURDAY: Michigan Road
On Saturday, July 20, starting at 6:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Michigan Road Lot, and run the 5.5 mile Red loop. I’m not gonna lie, Saturday is going to be hot so I’m getting any trail running over early. Since the Red loop is one of the fastest in the Rez, we’ll aim to return on the hour, ready to start the next loop. The 6:00 a.m. loop will be counterclockwise and I’ll switch directions every loop after. I’m good for two, maybe three, depending on the weather. Caramoor’s Jazz Festival is this Saturday so after the run, if you’re free, I’d highly recommend this awesome day-long event. Check it out here ››
Hope to see you out there this weekend.

It was great to see so many of you in the photo from last weekend. While I missed you all, you no doubt heard that three of us were in the White Mountains “running” the Pemigewasset (Pemi) Loop. Claudia, Joe C., and I will be happy to share some stories from the trip if you’re interested.
