New York’s Mid-Hudson region has entered Phase 4 of reopening.
We will continue to maintain safe practices to prevent any potential spread of Coronavirus. I’ll bring a camera to take a group photo but you can probably stand a little closer than last week if you, and the people around you, feel comfortable.
- Maintain social distancing before, during, and after the run
- Run abreast where possible to keep out of each other’s slipstreams
- Stagger start times, courses, and directions to maintain smaller groups
- Wear masks or buffs/neck gaiters when in the parking lots and when you see others on the trail even if they don’t do the same.

On Saturday, September 26, at 7:00 a.m., meet at the Leon Levy Preserve lot, 2-50 Smith Ridge Rd, South Salem, NY, ready to run a convoluted course of around 7 miles and using almost every trail in the park.

On Sunday, September 27, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Meadow Lot, ready to run a classic—Eleanor's Great Escape. This multidistance run takes you on some of the best trails in the park and with temperatures in the 60s, it's shaping up to be a beautiful day on the trails. Early risers can start at 6:00 or 7:00.
Rookie Runners start at 7:00 for a shorter distance and easier pace.
