On Saturday, January 7, at 7:00 a.m., meet at John F. Kennedy High School on Route 138 in Somers (54 NY-138, Somers, park in the Northen lot), when we run the Kennedy to Reis Park/Angle Fly Preserve. We’ll run from the trailhead of the Kennedy Trail, cut through to Somers High School, then make our way to Reis Park. I’ve outlined an 8.5-mile run but you have the option of shortening this to 5.5 miles or continuing on into Angle Fly and turning this into a half marathon. Early Risers start at 6:00 for an out-and-back on the Kennedy Trail to Brick Hill Road before the main run.
