SUNDAY
On Sunday, April 8, at 8:00 a.m., get ready to run a very special course—The Dancing Rock Run. This course revives a race that was held by Tony Godino and Dave Cope around the time the Loop was invented and includes a couple of bushwhacks. I’ve included the original course plus an option to follow the new RT trail to Raven Rocks but make sure you bring a map just in case. If you’re looking to start early, I’ll need some help lightly flagging the course starting at 5:00 a.m. The 6:00 and 7:00 crews can run some of the 8 x 4 loops.
SATURDAY
On Saturday, April 7, at 7:00 a.m., meet at the Ice Rink Lot at Bear Mountain and run some of the trails for the North Face Endurance Challenge. Options include various distances. If you’d like to ride share, meet at the Katonah Woods Bridge Commuter Lot at 6:00 a.m. for the hour drive to the start. I won’t be joining you so bring a map, electronic or otherwise. Details and options are available here ››
If you want to stay local, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Meadow Lot at 7:00 a.m. and run a variation of the Perimeter Loop.
