SUNDAY
On Sunday, December 16, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Blue Mountain in the lot past the main lodge ready to run a double-loop course totaling 7 miles. Kevin Rader will lead runners on a four-mile loop on some of the larger trails that will take us up to Blue Mountain. Then once we’re back at the cars, start a second, three-mile loop marked in green on the map (see map here ››). The second loop follows the Taconic Road Runners Cross Country Relay which will start at 10:00 a.m. Early birds can start at 7:00 a.m. at Blue Mountain (or 5:00 a.m. at the Meadow Lot in the Rez). Then hang out after the run and form some teams to compete in the Taconic Road Runner’s Cross Country Relay Race. More about the race and registration here ››
On Sunday, December 16, at 8:00 a.m., if you can’t make it to Blue Mountain for that XC Relay Races, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation Meadow Lot ready to run some twisted loops. Arrive at 5:00 a.m. and run the purple course. At 7:00 a.m., run a 4-mile loop, and at 8:00 a.m., run the Orange Loop. Since the XC relays start at 10:00, you can stop at 8:00 and make the race or stop at 7:00 and make the run at Blue Mountain. So many options. See the map here ››
SATURDAY
On Saturday, December 15, at 7:00 a.m., meet at the trailhead to Lookout Point in Mountain Lakes Park ready to run a special course. Bushwhacking may be involved. Runners should definitely have a sense of humor for this 10k-ish run. While we’ll be running some of the trails on this map, we’ll definitely be “off map.”
Hope to see you out there this weekend.

Great to see so many people at Zofnass this past weekend. What an awesome day to be on the trails.
