January 19, Mountain Lakes Park

This Sunday, January 19 at 8:00 a.m, meet at Mountain Lakes Park (201 Hawley Road, North Salem, NY) when we try out some new trails that the staff at Mountain Lakes has recently cut in when we run the Outer OS loop. Mark Vincent has found an extension of the OS trail which opens up areas of the park that most of you have never run before. We’ll also pass through the Yurt Village, around Spruce Lake (conditions permitting) and up the Red trail which will be new for most of you. Meet at the trailhead to Lookout Point if the main gate is open.

Next week we’ll meet at a new location when Tony Godino shows us the Zofnass Family Preserve.
