New York’s Mid-Hudson region has entered Phase 4 of reopening.
We will continue to maintain safe practices to prevent any potential spread of Coronavirus. I’ll bring a camera to take a group photo but you can probably stand a little closer than last week if you, and the people around you, feel comfortable.
- Maintain social distancing before, during, and after the run
- Run abreast where possible to keep out of each other’s slipstreams
- Stagger start times, courses, and directions to maintain smaller groups
- Wear masks or buffs/neck gaiters when in the parking lots and when you see others on the trail even if they don’t do the same.
Hope to see you out there this weekend.

Farringtons Woods
August 29, 2020 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 amBrewster, NY 10509 United States + Google Map
It looks like the weather won't cooperate for the scheduled run in the Catskills so let's run something closer to home. On Saturday, August 29, at 7:00 a.m., meet at Farringtons Woods Trailhead (see Google map) next to I-84 at the New York-Connecticut border. This park offers a variety of twisty trails throughout this 8-mile course. While not particularly technical (it is a mountain biking park), the switchbacks will keep you on your toes.
