SLIDE MOUNTAIN LOOP

This loop hike climbs to the summit of Slide Mountain, the highest peak in the Catskills, with several outstanding viewpoints, and continues on the other peaks of the Burroughs range. At 14+ miles and 5,000 feet of elevation gain, it’s not easy. Just sayin’.

The Free Avenza Maps software now has a free trail map of the Reservation available here. I’ll make .kml files available as I can so you can load them as layer overlays. Now there’s no excuse to get lost.
