SUNDAY, MEADOW LOT
This Sunday, March 1, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Meadow lot when we run the Rock Trail 8 Mile Loop. We’ll head south through the meadow trails and return via FH. In between, you’ll see the Bear Rock Petroglyph, Spy Rock, the Stairs, Castle Rock, Raven Rocks, Indian Rock Shelter, and plenty more rocks along the way. If you’re looking for something less ambitious, there’s a 5.5 mile loop as well. Those looking to start early can arrive at 5:00 a.m. or 7:00 a.m. for added distance.
And as usual, Rookie Runners start at 7:00 a.m.
SATURDAY, MEADOW LOT
On Saturday, February 29, at 7:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation ready to run the Snowy Owl Run. This course is almost the same as the Raven Rocks run but starts with a climb up FH then down the CB trail—and everyone loves a good climb at the start, right? Before the run, we can check out the Meadow bridge—there’s been progress. See the map ››
UPDATE
Real progress has been made on the bridges over the past week. I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to put a greater variety of runs on the calendar soon. Also, with the warm weather, watch out for ticks. They’re starting early this year. Hope to see you out there this weekend.

Meanwhile, enjoy the photo from this past run from Kimberly Bridge. Great-looking crowd for a winter run.
