March 30, Meadow Parking Lot

This Sunday, March 30 at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation Meadow Parking Lot (rain or shine) when we run the Meadow to Overlook loop. We’ll start from the Meadow lot and pass the Trailside Museum before heading into the southern portion of the reservation and returning via Schoolhouse Road. At about mile four, you might notice a slight incline—that would be to the Overlook where you’ll have a great view (and some serious training for the sand hill of the Leatherman’s Loop). I ran the course earlier this week and the trails are almost completely ice-free. With the rain expected over the next couple of days, I think they’ll be completely clear by Sunday.

Next Sunday we’ll meet at Leonard Park in Mt. Kisco for the Leonard Park to Butler run. I hope to see you out there.
