SUNDAY
Sorry folks, Sunday’s Leonard Park run will have to wait. With all of the rain, parts of the course are tmore trouble than they’re worth. We’ll try again in the spring. So, this Sunday, November 18, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Westmoreland Sanctuary on Chestnut Ridge Road in Mount Kisco when we run the 5.25 mile perimeter loop. This time, we run the course in a counterclockwise direction and return to the main lot. Those who want an extra challenge can do the Butler loop across the street after the run. That will add another 3+ miles at least for a total of around 8.5. See the map ››
For those looking to start early, this will be somewhat of a moveable feast.
5:00 a.m. Meet at Meyer preserve, parking on the Sarles Street lot opposite Bretton Ridge Road. We’ll return to the cars at round 6:40 and drive to Butler Preserve.
7:00 a.m. Meet at Butler preserve and run a perimeter loop then head over to Westmoreland at 8:00.
SATURDAY
On Saturday, November 17, at 7:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Meadow Lot ready to run the Meadow to Green Loop. This great course winds through some of the smaller trails in the park and gives you some options for different distances. But bring your own maps on this, I’m not sure I’ll make it.
I’ll be posting runs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of next week. Anyone who has a suggestion, let me know and I’ll see what I can do. Hope to see you out there this weekend.
Meanwhile, enjoy the photo from Raven Rocks Run and congratulations to everyone who came out to run or volunteer.
