On Sunday, June 4, at 9:45 a.m., don’t miss out on the annual “A Mild Sprain” Trail Run (5 mile run/3 mile walk/hike) at Sprain Ridge Park, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. “A Mild Sprain” is one of Westchester’s largest grassroots fundraisers. Over the past 10 years, the event has raised funds to help research that supports JDRF’s mission—to cure, treat and prevent Type 1 diabetes (T1D). The event draws people from the tri-state area bringing participants together for a worthy cause!
This is your moment to fundraise and help turn type one into type none! Know that every step, every participant, and every dollar brings us closer to our finish line—a world without T1D. All net proceeds go to JDRF whose mission is to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
Not racing? Then on Sunday at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Kimberly Bridge Lot, and run the Kimberly Blue Loop. Cobweb Crew starts at 5:00 a.m. and Early Risers at 7:00 can join me in a few repeats of Blue that morning.
