On Saturday, September 28, at 7:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation Kimberly Bridge Lot ready to run the Kimberly to Blue Route. Start down the Blue trail and choose from 5 miles, 6.5 miles, or 8 miles. Early Risers start at 6:00 for a few extra miles. See map below.
The Gunks
If you’re looking for something different, join me at 7:00 a.m. at the East Trapps Trailhead in Gardiner, NY, for a run to Millbrook Mountain, Gertrude’s Nose, and back (download the GPX file). We’ll be back up at the Gunks in a couple weeks, weather permitting, but I wanted to check out a different trail in advance. Should be around 10 miles total on an out-and-back course. Plus you can head over to the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival in Saugerties afterwards for food and fun.
