Add hill repeats and speed work on Wednesdays at 5:30 a.m. This week, meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Michigan Road Lot, at 5:30 a.m. for 90 minutes of Schoolhouse Road Repeats. The hill on Schoolhouse Road begins at the gate near the admissions booth and continues to the private drive. It’s .6 miles with a gain of 230 feet and an average slope of 8%. That means it’s all runnable. We’ll start by heading down the road and up through the Michigan Road lean-tos past intersection 55. Once we’re at the top of the hill on Schoolhouse Road, we’ll run four repeats down and back then on the fourth, we’ll head over to CB to return at a recovery pace to the Michigan Road Lot. Total distance should be 6.25 miles with a gain of 1,200 feet.
