New York’s Mid-Hudson region has entered Phase 3 of reopening.

We will continue to maintain safe practices to prevent any potential spread of Coronavirus. I’ll bring a camera to take a group photo but you can probably stand a little closer than last week if you, and the people around you, feel comfortable.

McArthur Multipark Marathon

On July 4, join us for a special event—the McArthur Multipark Marathon. This course starts at Kimberly Bridge and makes a perimeter loop of the Rez, exiting at Lewisboro Town Park. From there, runers sprint across Route 35 to Old Field Preserve then take a combination of roads to Mountain Lakes Park. You'll make a loop there then head back past Lake Truesdale to the eastern edge of the Rez to Kimberly Bridge. You'll have options for starting locations and times:

7:00 a.m. start from Kimberly Bridge: Full Marathon
7:00 a.m. start from Kimberly Bridge: Half Marathon Perimeter Loop
7:00 a.m. from 35 Old Pond Road, South Salem, NY: Chase pack with faster runners leaves to catch the main pack. Good luck guys.
8:00 a.m. from Kimberly Bridge: Chase pack arrives at Kimberly Bridge to pick up an additional runners
10:00 a.m. from MLP Lookout Point: Run 6 miles in Mountain Lakes Park
There will be aid stations at the McArthurs and Cummings at miles 12, 18, and 21. Water will be available. Restrooms are available at Mountain Lakes and at the Truesdale beach, miles 15, 17, and 21. The three-page map is below and available as a PDF. The first section shows the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation perimeter loop. The second shows the connecting streets. And the third shows the section at Mountain Lakes Park including Old Sib Preserve.

Meadow Museum Fire Tower to Michigan

On Sunday, July 5, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Meadow Lot, when we run the Meadow Museum, Fire Tower to Michigan loop. We'll run this in a clockwise direction as marked and runners have the opportunity to run distances from 5 to 8.5 miles. Since a number of you will be running a Marathon on Saturday, the earliest run on Sunday will be 7:00 with the Rookies. That's the perfect way to ease into the day. Rookie Runners start at 7:00 for a shorter distance and easier pace and are welcome to stay for the 8:00 run.
