The Sunday Runs team is far ahead in the standings with several already over 100 miles this month. Keep up the good work. New York’s Mid-Hudson region has entered Phase 4 of reopening.
We will continue to maintain safe practices to prevent any potential spread of Coronavirus. I’ll bring a camera to take a group photo but you can probably stand a little closer than last week if you, and the people around you, feel comfortable.
- Maintain social distancing before, during, and after the run
- Run abreast where possible to keep out of each other’s slipstreams
- Stagger start times, courses, and directions to maintain smaller groups
- Wear masks or buffs/neck gaiters when in the parking lots and when you see others on the trail even if they don’t do the same.

Trout Brook Valley

On Saturday, August 22, at 7:00 a.m., meet at the Bradley Road lot of Trout Brook Valley in Weston, CT, when we run a perimeter loop. Distances range from 6 to 8.5 miles on varying terrain from rocky single-track to meadows and orchards. We'll take a side trail to get a view of the Saugatuck Reservoir as well. You won't want to miss this.

On Sunday, August 23, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Michigan Road Lot, ready to run the Michigan FH to Overlook loop. This time, we'll reverse the direction and get the Overlook first. Options include distances of 5, 6.5, and 8 miles. As usual, the early crews can start at 6:00 and 7:00 for bonus miles.
Rookie Runners arrive at 7:00 a.m. for a shorter loop at an easier pace in time to return by 8:00.
