Sights and Heights
On Sunday, June 14, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Michigan Road Lot, ready to run the Sights to Heights v2 course. Options include 5.5, 7.5, and8.5 miles and can be run in either direction. The mountain laurel are starting to bloom so the trail up to the Fire Tower will be particularly beautiful. Early risers can start at 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 a.m. for successive 4-mile loops.
Rookie Runners will be with me at 7:00 a.m. for a shorter loop and more conversation.

The Free Avenza Maps software now has a free trail map of the Reservation available here. You can use that or the free GaiaGPS to load KML files of some of our runs as overlays. Now there’s no excuse to get lost.
