On Sunday, December 22, at 5:00 a.m., get ready to run a very special course—The Dancing Rock Ultra. This course revives a race created by Tony Godino and Dave Cope around the time the Loop was invented but adds a whole lot more. We’ll run the initial perimeter loop first, then meet up with the main group at 8:00 for the classic Dancing Rock Run.
Stage 1: Modified Perimeter Loop Starts Promptly at 5:00 a.m. Arrive a little early to sign in.
We’ve reserved Lean-to 5 for the day and will have a fire going and official timing set up when you return. Complete a modified perimeter loop and pause your timing once you return. Down time before the main 8:00 run will not count as running time.
Stage 2: Start Dancing Rock 14k, 30k, and Resume 50k at 8:00 a.m.
Total time will be added at the end of the run but the winner only gets bragging rights—as a fat ass, there are no prizes, just good times. You’re going to love this. Download the PDF ››
