New York’s Mid-Hudson region has entered Phase 4 of reopening.
We will continue to maintain safe practices to prevent any potential spread of Coronavirus. I’ll bring a camera to take a group photo but you can probably stand a little closer than last week if you, and the people around you, feel comfortable.
- Maintain social distancing before, during, and after the run
- Run abreast where possible to keep out of each other’s slipstreams
- Stagger start times, courses, and directions to maintain smaller groups
- Wear masks or buffs/neck gaiters when in the parking lots and when you see others on the trail even if they don’t do the same.
Hope to see you out there this weekend.

One of these days I promise it won’t be so hot. Just not sure when.

August 2, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 amPound Ridge, NY 10576 United States + Google Map
On Sunday, August 2, at 8:00 a.m., meet at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Michigan Road Lot for a very special run—The 7.5 mile Dancing Rockish Run. I know many of you are looking forward for December's annual running of the Dancing Rock run but what could be better than a preview in August? Don't worry, this version of the course stays mostly to trails and avoids the swamp near the finish so it's a bit more forgiving than the actual Dancing Rock run. Early risers can arrive at 6:00 or 7:00 a.m. for some cooler temps and extra miles.
Rookie Runners arrive at 7:00 a.m. for a shorter loop at an easier pace in time to return by 8:00.
